Envirogreen Technologies Ltd ETL) is looking for a motivated Regulatory Compliance Support person to join our team.

The Regulatory Compliance Support works under the direction of the Facility Administration Supervisor and any assigned Supervisors/Managers and works with other employees within the company to ensure safe work practices and policies, compliances and regulations are adhered.

Main responsibilities will include providing technical and administrative support to Envirogreen’s Regulatory Compliance Program to help ensure the company’s operations are consistent with its core values, environmental/technical permits, and applicable environmental regulatory requirements.

The Regulatory Compliance Support will work closely with facility staff to create a positive and safe working environment, be a resource to management and facility staff for health and safety information and promote health and safety programs in the workplace.
- Minimum Education: Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary school diploma or degree with a focus on one of the following: environmental protection technology, environmental engineering, environmental science, chemistry, biology, geology, or related field is preferred. Related work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education is considered an asset
- License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Solid work history and attendance record
- Ability to promote and enforce company’s PPE and site indoctrination requirements
- Experience in MS Office Suite and MS Power Apps an asset
- Attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to keep an accurate and organized daily log of activities/findings
- Collaborative yet able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to problem-solve independently including scoping and identifying suitable resources.
- Minimum three (3) years work experience in a related field preferred but not required

**Core Job Duties**

Employee has tasks associated with the following programs:

- Inspections
- Monitoring

- Inhouse Waste Management
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control
- Sampling
- Ensures regulatory requirements are met in the collection and storage of wastes generated inhouse based on guidance prepared by others
- Characterizes inhouse waste and waste streams based on guidance prepared by others
- Tracks inhouse waste generation: source, volume, type. location, storage, transportation, and disposal
- Collects samples and specimens as per established protocol, using more routine sampling procedures and apparatus
- Uses appropriate techniques to prepare (code, preserve, pre-treat and transport) samples for analysis while maintaining chain of custody requirements and sample integrity
- Maintains appropriate records and ongoing documentation pertaining to field and laboratory analytical work, mobile/handheld radios, and regulatory documentation
- Be able to work in a team environment
- All other duties as requested by supervisor or manager

This safety-sensitive position must be filled immediately. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing may be required for this safety-sensitive position as immediate site access is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
