We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of **Technical & Project Manager of Western Canada**. The role may be based out of **any of our Western Canada AIT locations.**

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Director of OEM & Technical Services. The Technical & Project Manager of Western Canada must be experienced, determined and influential. Has a broad strategic perspective and proven track record of success in growing business. He is responsible for leading and guiding our project & technical services team in all development activities throughout Western Canada.
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians and their support functions to provide quality solutions to our internal and external customers
- Provide leadership with commercial and contractual negotiations
- Determine the deliverables of the department, the program steps and other initiatives to meet the strategies set by senior management
- Lead the implementation of new processes, tools and data to ensure continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
- Ensure synergy between the technical services department, branches and customer so that the development plan is achieved
- Track, consolidate and report results to management
- Create and deliver presentations and proposals on the various services offered by the Technical Services Team.
- Manage performance evaluations and development plan for members of your team
- Assist in the definition of projects scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Design schedule for projects, set timelines, and delegate specific task(s)
- Measure and track project performance, budgetary objectives, project constraints, develop detailed project plans and reports using appropriate tools and techniques
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Solve and/or escalate complex problems which arise within the project and responsible for the outcome and completion the project within quality and budget scope
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
- Post secondary education in engineering, sales or other relevant experience
- Successful in developing and maintaining positive and lasting business relationships
- Proven leadership skills and coaching abilities
- Good communication, presentation and relation management skills
- Excellent at organizational and planning activities
- Ability to quickly analyze unique situations, solve problems, determine risk and impact on our business
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Strong ability to multi-task, deal with several projects simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency and ability meet absolute deadline.
