We are looking for a full-time pharmacy assistant to join our pharmacy team at Millstream Village Pharmasave. Ideally you would have previous pharmacy experience with a good working knowledge of the Kroll pharmacy computer system. We are seeking someone who thrives working within a team environment and has superior customer service skills, enthusiasm, a strong ability to multitask, willingness to continually learn, and an eagerness to have fun in the process.

Our store hours are Monday-Friday 9:00am-7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm, Sunday 10:00am-5:00pmDuties

**Duties**:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Enter prescription information into the computer system accurately
- Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries
- Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy assistant preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and prescription processing
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering quality patient care. You will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. Your attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
