**General Description**

The Gym/Cafe Attendant will be responsible for assisting with custodial, Juice & Java, and front desk operations, and in doing so will foster the highest degree of friendly, personalized service.

**Juice & Java**
- Greeting clients and members
- Serving and interacting with customers
- Preparing smoothies, specialty coffees and food items
- Taking payment and making change accurately
- Opening and closing duties
- Cleaning & general upkeep of the juice bar & seating area
- Efficient duty-sharing and co-operation with team members
- Appearing and behaving professionally, befitting a downtown business

**Member Service / Administration**
- Greeting members and providing member assistance and interaction
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls; booking appointments
- Data entry and membership database management and filing
- Handling and recording cash transactions
- General club assistance as required
- Social Media

**Facility Maintenance**
- Collecting, washing, drying, folding and distributing bath and sweat towels and member clothing bags
- Locker room upkeep, tidiness and cleaning
- Equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Innumerable odds & ends

**Other**
- Please note that this position experiences times of high volume of activity and can be physically demanding

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to learn, self-starter, confident, vibrant, energetic, people-person, team player
- Ability to keep a high degree of attention to detail and to multi-task

**Hours**:~20-25 hours per week, weekdays only between 6 AM and 5 PM.

**Supervisor**: HR Manager

**Wage**:$17/hour
