As an Industrial Maintenance Summer Student, you will work closely with our skilled maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and systems. You will gain valuable exposure to troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- **Duration**: May 2025 - August 2025
- **Shift**: Rotational, 12 hr. shift
- **Hourly Wage**: $23.70/hr
- Assist in performing preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Help with inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
- Document maintenance activities and report issues to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance team.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanical programs or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems is an asset.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
