The Amsterdam Tea Room is not the regular model for restaurants. We believe that **great hospitality** is achieved by the seamless relationship between the Bar, the Kitchen and the Restaurant. We are passionate about the whole experience

We want our staff to take care of our customers like they would at a dinner party to make the drinks, help with food, start a conversation and know that the whole team is working together to give the customer an **unforgettable experience**.

We make **amazing tea cocktails**, great **food**and we are looking for people who share our passion in the **whole**experience and want to learn and master it all, starting at the very bottom

10 hours a week

(2 late evening / night shifts)

Starting Compensation - $15.80 / hr

Plus tip share that reflects current skill level

(work hard, learn and expand your skill set and your tip share will increase).

All managers and supervisors.

**Activities and Responsibilities**
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using a dishwasher or by hand.
- Keep the dishwasher clean and maintained, and immediately report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen Manager.
- Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen.
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
- Sweep or scrub floors.
- Receive and store supplies.
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
- Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

**Support Technician Requirements**:

- Must love staying up late - we stay open until 2am on the weekends
- Excellent attention to detail
- High standards of cleanliness
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work late evening/ nighttime hours, including weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy items in a fast-paced, exciting and challenging environment.
