**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct the safe removal of hazardous materials, such as asbestos, lead, and mold, from buildings and other structures.
- Prepare and clean work areas before commencing abatement activities.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to facilitate the abatement process.
- Restore areas post-abatement to ensure compliance with safety standards and readiness for further construction or renovation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Keep precise records of work performed and materials utilized in abatement projects.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects promptly and efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in abatement or a related field is preferred, although not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction or restoration work.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to diligently following safety procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity for effective teamwork.
- Willingness to participate in any necessary training or certification related to hazardous material handling.
- MUST HAVE A WORKSAFEBC LEVEL 2 ASBESTOS CERTIFICATE

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
