living, retirement living, assisted care, memory care and long-term care for older adults across southern Ontario.
**Our Village in Guelph has an exciting opportunity for an ATTENDING PHYSICIAN to join our village team. We are excited to invite applicants from the Guelph Wellington area.**
We are looking for a physician to join our team who will support and embrace our resident-centred social culture, and be proud to deliver the highest quality of clinical care to our residents. Attending Physicians at Schlegel Villages have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our residents, families, and team members. They join a team that is passionate about supporting our residents living lives with purpose, meaningful relationships, and part of a community. Our Attending Physicians can be part of a mentorship relationship focused on geriatrics, and there is potential to be involved with research projects conducted through our partnership with the RIA.
**Our new Attending Physician will contribute to our Mission, Vision, and Values in the following ways**:
- Provide quality medical care and services to a defined group of residents living within our Assisted Care, Memory Care and Independent Living neighbourhoods
- Participate in the Health Advisory Committee
- Document resident health records during each clinical visit
- Work in collaboration with the Village team to provide guidance for the medical care plans for each assigned resident
- Deliver standard on-site hours and provide reasonable after-hours availability for emergencies
- Participate in care planning with families, residents and the Village team if requested.
**Our new Attending Physician will have**:
- Have current knowledge of geriatrics and gerontology
- Maintain good Standing with the College of Physicians within the Province of Ontario

**Salary**: $702.00-$2,000.00 per month

**Education**:
- Doctoral Degree (required)
