Supporting a young adult living with Physical and Developmental Disability in achieving her full potential by facilitating relationships, skills and roles which promote her participation as a valued member of her community;
Have an understanding of supporting individuals with complex support needs in a sensitive and respectful manner, in all areas of their lives;
Participate in the Person Directed Planning process

Possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
Assist in the work that is involved in activities of daily living;
Be available to work pre-determined regularly scheduled shifts i.e. Monday through Sunday (including evenings and weekends)

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Taking her out into the community to socialize
- Assist with activities of daily living, namely toileting and transferring
- Drive or Uber with Appointments, visit friends
- Doing Laundry (1-2 loads per week)

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Related work experience in the Developmental/Social Services or PSW field.

A Diploma/Certificate in the Developmental/Social Services/PSW field or a combination of relevant training / post-secondary education and work-related experience is an asset

Valid Driver’s license (if driving, with a clean driving record )

Must be able to maintain good attendance

A current Police Reference Check which includes a Vulnerable Sector Screening required

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

- Day shift

- Ontario: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
