**About us**

Medicine Market Pharmacy is a locally owned independent pharmacy looking to hire its newest member. We have been serving our customers and their health needs since January of 2006.

**Medicine Market Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant.**
- Prescription assembly - data entry
- Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions), operate POS terminal
- Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
- Blister Pack Assembly
- Maintaining highest operational standards for front store
- Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
- Drug order creation and receiving
- Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
- Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
- Assist with other pharmacy operations as required

**Job Requirements**
Technical Skills:

- **Above average communication skills (both oral and written)**:

- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast environment
- Ability to multi-task

Education and Experience:

- High School diploma
- Pharmacy Assistant certificate from a recognised Canadian College preferred
- Will consider applicants with retail Canadian Pharmacy Experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
