**Job Overview**

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MILLWORK ESTIMATING

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create comprehensive project bids.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and scope.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices for materials and services.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
- Review and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or specifications.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings to clarify project details with clients and stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $49,572.76-$90,642.31 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
