HealthySafe HomeCare is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dependable Personal Support Workers to join our amazing team.

The Personal Support Worker is accountable to the RPN and/or RN to provide excellent personal care to residents.

**Responsibilities**:*

Primary functions include providing care according to the established resident care plan including all components of activities of daily living and supporting participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.

The Personal Support Worker is required to perform their duties in a manner consistent with the core values and employee guiding principles, ensure resident safety, and demonstrate customer service excellence.

As an integral part of the home and community care team, you will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes, community setting, and long term Care facility by assisting with activities of daily living.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years experience as a PSW.
- Experience in a Long-term care facility and in the Home Care Community an asset.
- CPR AND FIRST AID (required).

**Ability to commute an asset**:

- ON: reliably commute (preferred)

Work Location: Resident Home and the Long-term care facility

**Expected start date**: ASAP.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (required)
