**Job Brief**:
Promyse Home Care is looking for caring, competent and qualified Personal Support Worker(s) to provide support for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner.
**Shifts & Availability**:
- Preferably someone who can cover short morning and afternoon shifts
- Availability on Weekends is an advantage
- Flexible / Can work short or longer shifts
- Willing to visit 1-3 clients a day
**Shift Schedules**:
- Weekends: 9am-12noon|4pm-6pm
- Longer shifts: 8am-2pm|7pm-7am |7am-7pm
- Shorter shifts: 11am-3pm |1pm-4pm|2pm-3pm |2pm-4pm |3pm-6pm
Note: Schedules above may change anytime
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Provide Personal Care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Cook (Prepare meals based on the client care plan)
- Clean (Mop, Laundry, Clean Kitchen/Dishes)
- Home support
- Companionship
- Appointment accompaniment
**Job Qualifications**:
- Must be living in Ontario Canada, preferably near in the following locations:
- Kitchener/Waterloo;
- Cambridge ;
- Guelph
- (Elmira, S. Jacobs**,* Ayr, Baden, etc.) **Willingness to serve clients throughout Waterloo Region *(urgent hiring for Elmira client)
- **Required**: Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certification, Health Care Aid (HCA) certification and internationally educated nurse OR equivalent.
- Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
- Current CPR Training (not expired)
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray result
- COVID Vaccination (Completely vaccinated - 2 doses)
- Strong verbal and written English language skills
- Personal cell phone with a mobile data plan.
- Must have reliable transportation, preferably your own vehicle.
- Willing to visit 1-3 clients locations/day
- Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience providing seniors or disabled adults with care
- Willing to start to work immediately (within 1-7 days)
