Greenskeeper

The Idylwylde Turf Team is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course and grounds at The Idylwylde Golf & Country Club, centrally located in Sudbury, Ontario alongside the beautiful Lake Nepahwin.

The Turf Team is currently looking for motivated, team-oriented individuals to join our team for the 2024 golfing season. If you are someone who enjoys the game of golf, working outdoors and challenging yourself, then this is the position for you. This is a seasonal part-time position with some weekend and holiday work required.

Position Description:

- Mowing of Greens, Tees, Collars, Approaches.
- Mowing of Fairways and Roughs with “ride on” equipment.
- Raking sand traps.
- Operation of lawnmowers, line trimmers.
- Maintaining course set up including hazards, tee blocks, filling divots, garbage pick up, and recycling.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work as a team in a cooperative, motivating, and safe environment to achieve the common goals of the club.
- A personal and professional commitment to excellence.
- Ability to complete any task as outlined by the superintendent and assistant.
- Method of transportation.
- No experience required however it is an asset.
- A love for the outdoor environment.
