Whitemud Ironworks Limited is the largest open-shop commercial fabricator/erector in Western Canada. We are a fully integrated steel fabricator and erector that specializes in structural and miscellaneous steel projects in the commercial sector.

Whitemud Ironworks Limited is seeking highly skilled **Steel Erection Ironworkers with Welding Experience **to join our construction team based out of Vancouver, BC. We offer opportunities to work in town so you can be home every night. **Who we’re looking for**:

- Minimum 2-year experience in structural ironworking experience
- Journeyman or apprentice ironworkers, or unticketed workers with equivalent experience
- Valid CWB SMAW all positions ticket
- Minimum 2 years’ SMAW welding experience on structural steel projects
- Experience with commercial projects is an asset
- Takes safety as your number one priority
- Reliable and willing to work as a team with othes
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a vehicle

**The key duties of this position include**:

- Work at heights as required
- Perform erection of structural, ornamental, and other miscellaneous metal work
- Offload, sort and prepare structural steel for erection
- Read blueprints and specifications to lay out work
- Read, understand, and follow instruction drawings and weld procedures
- Weld structural and miscellaneous carbon steel using SMAW or FCAW all positions
