Allied Express Ltd. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused **Independent Contractor DZ Driver**. Contractor will operate a Hino straight truck to complete scheduled freight movements within the GTA and surrounding areas, with occasional out-of-town, weekend, and late-night run opportunities.

This role is ideal for an experienced driver who values professionalism, safety, and the flexibility of independent contract work.

**Scope of Work (Services to be Provided)**:

- Perform pre
- and post-trip checks in accordance with legal requirements to ensure safe operation.
- Transport and deliver freight using a DZ-class straight truck (Hino) in compliance with MTO and all applicable regulations.
- Ensure goods are handled with care and delivered to the correct location within agreed timelines.
- Accurately record delivery details as required for shipment completion.
- Maintain a professional standard of service in all client interactions.
- Ensure the truck is returned in clean condition and advise Allied Express Ltd. of any mechanical or safety concerns noted during operation.

**Contractor Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario DZ Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Physically able to handle freight up to 50 lbs.
- Strong focus on safety, professionalism, and reliable service.
- Availability for local, evening, weekend, and out-of-town runs.
- Able to operate as an **Independent Contractor**.

**Experience**:

- Commercial driving: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- DZ license (required)
