**Job Overview**

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist in various construction projects, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and according to safety guidelines. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.

This job requires work experience in construction, but does not require a degree, certificate or diploma. We also will request a driving record check abstract for this position.

**Duties**
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Complete safety checks as required
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment
- Operate hand and power tools as directed
- Assist in sewer water activities like shoring, grading, and geo-têxtile installations
- Follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Track production and assist with survey layout

**Certificates**
- Safety Training an Asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License

**Experience**
- Prior experience in construction or a related field is required
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints is a plus
- Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in construction
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job
