**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages learning through play and exploration.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
- Utilize computer operation skills to maintain records of student progress and communicate effectively with staff and families.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Support children with special educational needs by adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-confidence.
- Organize classroom activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students.

**Requirements**:

- A valid BC ECEA license
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping and communication purposes.
- A genuine passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
