DEV Hotel and Conference Centre is looking for an outstanding individual to join us in the position of **Room Attendant**.

The DEV facility is home to the largest hotel and conference center in Eastern Ontario. The site is located on 75 acres of indoor and outdoor space in Cornwall, Ontario and is ideal for gatherings and conferences of any size. The hotel offers over 500 guest rooms, as well as 70,000 square feet of dynamic and flexible meeting space. For decades, the facility has continued to evolve and is the site of choice for corporate conferences, sporting events, government training programs, and more.

**Summary**

We are looking for a qualified and talented individual with experience in housekeeping. The Housekeeper plays an integral role in the cleanliness and sanitation of the hotel and rooms and all areas under the responsibility of the Housekeeping Manager.
**Duties**
- Maintaining and cleaning guest rooms
- Change sheets and make the beds in stay over and checkout rooms
- Maintenance and cleaning of rooms, such as dusting furniture, empty garbage and recycling garbage cans, vacuuming, clean mirrors and chrome areas;
- Maintain and disinfect bathrooms - wash tub/shower, sink, toilet, floor and replace items in rooms (towels, soaps, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.);
- Remove room service trays from the room;
- Report forgotten items in the room/ lost by guests;
- Fill the cart for the next day;
- Participate in training programs; any other duties of a similar nature.
- Perform room discrepancy checks and report any damage or defects
- Respect and follow the sanitary guidelines described by the brand and the Management, using recognized, certified and approved cleaning products;

**Qualifications sought**
- 1 year or less of experience in a similar position

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
