An Emco Warehouse Supervisor is expected to:

- Ensure material is received, stored and shipped in a safe and efficient manner
- Assist in maximizing profitability for the Profit Center
**Job Summary**

Warehouse Supervisor conducts and oversees all warehouse operations and ensures they are performed in a safe, secure and efficient manner in compliance will all local Health and Safety regulations and company policies. He/she is the primary point of contact between the Profit Center sales and operations team and the warehouse team.

**Job Duties**
- Uphold Emco Core Values at all times.
- Follow all Health and Safety rules and legislation while performing job functions
- Load and unload trucks, operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Shipping and receiving duties as required
- Effectively plan and execute truck shipments to ensure maximum efficiency of fleet utilization
- Ensure all material is received and stored in a safe and economical manner while maintaining all proper paperwork is completed.
- Supervise the proper routing, loading and preparation of orders for shipment, delivery and pick up in accordance with customer instructions.
- Resolve all delivery complaints and receiving disputes quickly and efficiently.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Possess a strong work ethic and high standard of integrity
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace and stressful environment
- Able to safely operate a forklift and all other material handling equipment used in the Profit Centre
- Able to develop comprehensive knowledge of product sold at the Profit Centre
- Able to learn and operate the applicable software system (Trend, Eclipse) used to process orders
- Intermediate math skills - add, subtract, multiply, divide, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
- Willing to invest a minimum of 40 hours in training annually
- Read, write, speak and understand English
**Education and Experience**
- University degree preferred
- Minimum 1+ year of experience with warehouse management and supervising a team
- Minimum 2+ years of material handling experience
- Operation of a forklift and other material handling equipment safely
- Valid driver’s license with a good Drivers abstract
- Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Centre preferred but not required

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON L8W 3P2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
