**_WHAT YOU’LL DO: _**
- The CYC, as a member of the Child Adolescent Unit inpatient multidisciplinary team, promotes a safe and therapeutic environment where patients are treated according to their individual needs. The CYC works with the patient, family and multidisciplinary team to promote patient mental and physical wellness. S/he, as a member of the health care team, and has a significant role in promoting health, preventing illness, and helping clients attain and maintain the highest level of health possible. _

**_WHAT YOU’LL BRING: _**
- Child and Youth Worker Diploma or equivalent. _

**_Demonstrated expertise in mental health service to children/adolescents and their families. _**

**_Three years relevant work experience. _**

**_Hospital or residential treatment setting experience including shift work _**_. _**

**_WHO YOU ARE: _**

**_Proven excellent interpersonal relationships. _**

**_Proven excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and written). _**

**_Demonstrated evidence of commitment to continuing education. _**

**_Demonstrated knowledge of CYC scope of practice. _**

**_Proven ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. _**

**_Current BCLS. _**

**_Valid CPI course or commitment to receive same within 3 months of hire. _**
