**Position Details**
- The University of Lethbridge is seeking a full-time, continuing Caretaker.

Reporting to the Manager, Caretaking Services, this position is responsible for janitorial work.

Janitorial work includes but is not limited to floor scrubbing, carpet cleaning, floor refinishing, general cleaning, and recycling. This position will assist with the completion of minor maintenance projects, operating cleaning equipment (i.e. lifts, polishers, auto-scrubbers, burnishers, back vacuum, and other cleaning equipment).

This position is responsible to fully clean residence apartments for move out/move in as required. This full-time Caretaker II will need to meet the Caretaking Expectations, follow standard operating procedures, and safe work practices.

**Position Qualifications**
- 6 months to 1 year cleaning experience.
- Universal Cleaning Precautions, First Aid, WHMIS, basic computer skills, Outlook, and Microsoft Word.
- Operational Know-How of equipment including back vacuums, ride on sweeper/scrubbers, auto scrubbers, buffers & burnishers; physical agility, strength, fitness, and vision requirements.
- Fall Protection, Forklift, Mental First Aid.

**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $3,135.00 - $3,433.00 monthly

**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $3,135.00 - $3,729.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 3)
