_The Sales Agent will be responsible for planning, implementing, and directing the sales activities of the company in a designated area to achieve sales objectives. The Sales Agent set goals, analyzes sales trends and relevant data, motivates, and helps create improvements._
**_Responsibilities & Duties _**
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Delegate responsibility for customer accounts to sales personnel
- Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, weekly sales, inventory, potential clients, follow-ups with current clients, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Keeping contact lists and following up with current customers to continue building relationships for the B2C channel
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
- Ability to establish excellent networking relationships in order to grow the business
- Coordinate/establish shipping processes for B2B orders to ensure the product is delivered to the client
- Responsible for creating a leads database, retaining existing distributors and identifying new sales opportunities when possible (B2B Channel)
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Develop sales presentations and proposals alongside the marketing department
- Investigate lost sales and customer accounts
- Formulate sales policies and procedures for B2C and B2B channels
- Analyze data to identify B2B sales opportunities
- Develop promotional ideas and material alongside the marketing department
- Attend trade meetings and industry conventions
- Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key accounts
- **Requires Knowledge & Awareness of Following Tasks **_
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
- Experience in B2C, and B2B sales
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel to customer events
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
