Store Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive store sales and meet targets.
- Train and supervise store staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
- Create schedules and assign tasks to staff members.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring products are adequately stocked.
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, preparing deposits, and reconciling cash drawers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and guest laundry.
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
- Inspect linens for stains or damage.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and storing clean linens.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience in store management or a similar role. Experience working in a hotel or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures.
- Ability to sell products effectively and meet sales targets.
- Experience in interviewing and hiring staff members.
- Knowledge of market trends and ability to adapt store strategies accordingly.
- Excellent supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Knowledge of laundry operations and procedures.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail to ensure linens are properly cleaned and folded.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and keep track of supplies.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads.

**Salary**: From $45,760.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cranbrook, BC V1C 3T2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
