**About the role**:
This role will suit an experienced Fitter / Fabricator looking for work creating custom equipment for the mining, oil & gas, pulp & paper, and shipbuilding industries. Specifically, this role will take responsibility for:

- Reading and following fabrication drawings and specifications.
- Perform accurate layout and fitting work.
- Assemble tankage, platework, and structural components.
- Weld Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Special projects as required.

**About you**

We are looking for an experience steel fabrication and welding professional. Someone with a good understanding of welding techniques and procedures. In addition, this role requires:

- Minimum 2 years experience in steel fabrication
- CWB welding ticket preferred, but not mandatory
- High attention to detail
- Commitment to quality

Pay: $32.00-$36.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
