**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in the Waterworks Manufacturing industry. The primary objective of this position is to manage and ensure the efficient production and assembly of all materials manufactured by Pro-Line Fittings Inc. The individual will be responsible for operating large fabrication machines, utilizing adhesives, fiberglass, power saws and routers, and various other fabrication materials.

**Responsibilities**

Attention to detail is critical in this role. The employee will be expected to maintain high standards of quality control throughout the production process. This includes meticulously inspecting finished products and components to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.
- Complete tasks provided by the Production Manager and Production Lead Hand or Fabrication Manager and Fabrication Lead Hand.
- Learn, operate, and work with various machines in the production shop.
- Cut and bevel pipe as required.
- Operate the belling or pulling stations.
- Glue or fibreglass fittings as required.
- Learn & operate the PVC welders.
- Inspect all finished materials for high quality and free of defects.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of your workspace and the production shop daily.
- Alert supervisor of any needs regarding materials or tools.
- Meet the measures of success and strive for continuous improvement.
- Assist the shipping department with the expedition of priority orders and the packing of finished goods.
- Encourage health and safety measures and improvements with all colleagues.
- Special projects as required.

**Qualifications**
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the warehouse and/or manufacturing industry.
- High School diploma or post-secondary education in manufacturing.
- Good understanding of mathematics and measurements for cutting, threading, bending, and assembling materials.
- Prior experience in fabrication or installation roles is an asset.
- Strong experience and safe use of power tools.
- Use of large fabrication machines.
- Previous experience with welding/soldering an asset.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Strong organization, interpersonal and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Clear communication and active listening.
- Ability to process information well and excellent time management.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
