Under the leadership of Dr. Kim Christie, Okanagan Clinical Trials makes a significant contribution to the medical industry. Our clinic specializes in the execution of research studies that hope to advance treatments for many indications including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, migraine, autism, celiac disease, diabetes, and more.

**This is a full-time position that will be based at our site in Richmond, B.C.**

**Job Summary**

Richmond Clinical Trials is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Richmond, BC. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for receiving, storing, and dispensing investigational drugs according to study protocols and regulatory requirements. In addition to ensuring the safe and effective handling of investigational drugs, daily tasks will also include scheduling and conducting memory assessments, data entry, maintaining files, and assisting the research team with administrative tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and store investigational drug for clinical trials
- Prepare and dispense investigational drug to staff
- Investigational drug management
- Maintain accurate records of drug inventory and dispensing activities
- Assist in the resolution of drug-related issues and queries
- Data Entry
- Maintaining regulatory documentation
- Scanning
- Faxing
- Reminder Calls
- Possess a sound and in-depth understanding of each protocol’s requirements
- Perform timely, accurate electronic data entry, using the protocol-specific eCRF completion guidelines
- Verify entries for accuracy and completeness
- Respond to automatic system-generated queries
- Relay all other queries to appropriate study coordinator
- Scheduling and conducting memory assessments

Qualifications:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES**:

- Computer literacy required
- Proficient in MS Office required
- Highly motivated
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player
- Communicate effectively with study coordinators and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper drug management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

**Job Status**: Full Time / 40 hours per week

**Salary**: $58,000-77,000

**Employee benefits**: Benefits are available after a 3-month probation period

**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm
