Location: Toronto (Hybrid) - No visa sponsorship provided We are seeking a Head of AI to lead our engineering organization’s AI initiatives and technology strategy. You will play a key role in steering digital innovation, supervising advanced technology development and implementation, and optimizing organizational processes for enhanced efficiency, security, and cost-effectiveness. Requisitos Obrigatórios: - Extensive experience in leading engineering and AI teams at the Director or Head level - Proven record in establishing AI incubators or similar innovation-driven environments - Experience with strategy development and implementation for AI adoption at scale - Technical expertise with AI/ML, GenAI, and modern software architectures - Strong knowledge in SaaS, cloud computing (preferably AWS or Azure), and API integrations - Demonstrated ability to manage contracts and partnerships with major AI players (e.g., OpenAI) - Solid background in software product re-architecture and modernization - Deep understanding of cybersecurity and operational efficiency in technology-driven organizations Requisitos Desejáveis: - Familiarity with M&A processes and AI-powered deal sourcing platforms - Experience with HRIS systems and integration frameworks - Track record in global technology leadership (serving multiple business units/subsidiaries) - Hands-on expertise with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Docker/Kubernetes - Previous experience running technical workshops and training sessions - Familiarity with cost reduction and efficiency improvement methodologies - Experience with developing and deploying ChatGPT or LLM solutions - Advanced knowledge of business process automation and AI governance Soft Skills: - Strategic and hands-on leadership style - Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills - Ability to inspire innovation and a culture of continuous improvement - High adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments - Strong organizational and project management skills Atividades: - Lead the development and implementation of AI initiatives, from conception through operationalization, across the organization - Foster a culture of digital innovation and establish in-house AI incubator programs - Design and execute AI adoption frameworks and roadmaps for business integration ("crawl, walk, run" approach) - Oversee large-scale software modernization projects leveraging generative AI technologies - Serve as the primary liaison for AI partnerships and collaborations (e.g., OpenAI, global tech vendors) - Conduct workshops, training, and awareness sessions on AI best practices and integration strategies globally - Supervise teams building and enhancing proprietary HRIS integration and high-impact process automation software - Provide strategic direction and day-to-day management for an engineering consultancy team supporting 100+ business subsidiaries - Monitor operational metrics, regularly identify process bottlenecks, and drive cost-saving initiatives powered by AI and process optimization If you are excited to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and shape the future of AI-enabled business transformation, we invite you to apply.
