Summary*
The Quality, Health and Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Coordinator will be responsible for the quality and safety culture of RHK Hydraulic Cylinder Services Inc. This person will lead the quality management, environmental, and health and safety programs by planning, developing, monitoring, communicating, training, and improving an integrated system.

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assist in the improvement & development of management system procedures and forms, in line with applicable standards (ISO9001:2015 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007).
- Ensure participation and compliance with the RHK quality, environment, health, and safety program.
- Establish and implement metrics for monitoring system effectiveness and managing non-conformances.
- Perform root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
- Organize and report findings of various types of testing to senior management. This includes but is not limited to noise, air quality, environmental, and hearing testing.
- In partnership with supply chain, develop and manage a strong vendor list.
- Develop manuals, policies, and procedures for training and safe work practices.
- Implement information flow and data publications to ensure each level of management is properly informed of all activities relative to compliance with company quality, environment and safety policies and bulletins.
- Orientation of new employees with quality, environment, and safety training.
- Ensure all equipment and buildings owned or operated by the company comply with environmental, heath and safety and fire regulations and any other Provincial or Federal regulations.
- Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
- Participate in JHSC (Joint Health Safety Committee) and follow-up on action items.
- Other tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma required. Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- 2+ years working in Quality Management within the oil and gas manufacturing environment.
- Quality Management Certification or related experience required.
- ISO Auditor certification is considered a strong asset.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of Canadian and provincial Occupational Health & Safety regulations and codes.
- Experience in research, analysis, interpretation and implementation of quality, environment, and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, capable multi-tasker, flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

**Working Environment/Physical Demands**
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, mechanical parts, and vibration.
- Noise level in the work environment can be loud.
- This position is active, requires standing, walking, bending, sitting.
- May be required to infrequently move items 10 lbs up to 50 lbs.
