Hostess/host

Greet incoming and departing guests, escort them to the assigned dining area and present menus.
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate information
- Book/cancel/modify reservations using our reservation system
- Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests
- Tend to special guest needs and requests
- Take guests' coats and jackets during the winter seasons
- Ensure coat room is clean and numbers are in order

**Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of two years in customer service and a minimum of one year working at a similar establishment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including Friday and Saturday night
- Must be available for a minimum of two shifts per week
- Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift
- Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests
- Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
- Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone and in person in both English and French
