Are you passionate about safety and security? Canal Side Security is looking for reliable and professional Casual/Event Security Guards to join our team in the Niagara Region, Ontario.

**Position Overview**:
As a Security Guard for casual and event positions, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property. You’ll provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide access control and enforce event policies.
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Assist event staff and guests with information and directions.
- Write detailed incident reports as required.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold company standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Valid G-Class Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (preferred).
- Valid Ontario Smart Serve certification (preferred).
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in event security, crowd management, or a similar role is an asset.
