Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child and Youth, Direct Support Worker (DSW) or Community support worker (CSW) to join our team. This role involves providing care and support to children and youth in need, ensuring their well-being and development.

Here4You Child and Youth Services Inc. is a dedicated agency that provides high levels of supervision, structure and support to children and youth who have difficulty managing in their environments and who require continuous limit setting and intervention strategies. Here4You will have children and youths participate in community and recreational programs that will increase quality of life and can obtain lifelong skills that will prepare a successful transition for child or youth return to their family home and/or independent living.

Here4You is seeking a highly skilled workers who have experience working with children or youth who have may have physical or behavioural impairments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing individualized direct client support to child/youth who have been diagnosed with Developmental Disability and/or experiencing behaviour crisis and/or present with complex needs.
- Providing care and support for child/youth in their setting such as live in treatment, residential care home, family or foster home, school, hospital, the community, etc.
- Must monitor and document daily shift logs, incident reports, medication charts and other documents.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for child/youth in care.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of living spaces.
- Administer medications and fill out Medication log
- Transport resident to and from appointments and community outings.
- Assist with client daily hygiene routine and household chores.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Child & Youth Worker, Community and Justice Services, or relevant field (or currently enrolled)
- Valid CPR & First-Aid (required)
- UMAB Certification or CPI (required)
- Vulnerable Sector Clearance (Within last 3 months)
- Valid G2 / G Driver’s License (required)
- Must have Vehicle (required)
- Knowledge of the Ministry of Children, Community, and Social Services and Family Service Act guidelines
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (required)
- Must be available to work Overnight Shift (required)
- Must be able to work 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
