**Educational Assistant**

**Location: Normandeau School**

**30 hours weekly**

October 28, 2024 to June 30, 2025

**Desirable qualifications and attributes**:

- Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education.
- Relationship-focused and student-centered.
- SIVA training or NVCI training would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed/invested and sensitive practices.
- Comfortable working independently, with mínimal guidance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with SSR Teachers and School Administration.
- Toileting assistance may be required.
- The ability to remain calm amidst stressful situations is an asset.
- Experience working with students with complex special educational needs, and social-emotional learning.
