Brake Press Operator

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Operate and set up press brake machines for bending metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine job requirements.
- Utilize CNC programming for automated operations when necessary.
- Perform quality checks on finished products using basic math skills to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot issues.
- Use hand tools and other machinery as needed, including cranes and forklifts for material handling.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar machining role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery including press brake machines.
- Familiarity with CNC operations, laser cutting, and welding techniques is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and operate forklifts safely (certification preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay: $19.00-$26.00 per hour
