Welland, Canada Kingdon and Associates Full time

One-on-one in-person tutor required, representing Kingdon and Associates Tutoring Services in Welland, Ontario for high school students with learning disabilities. Must have your own transportation to drive to student's homes after school and/or on weekends, for the duration of the school year. Tutor must have experience working with students who have learning disabilities and have some tutoring or teaching experience. Students will require intensive support to reteach and review, as well as teaching organization, planning and study strategies. Creativity and ability to adapt planned tutoring sessions to student's individual needs is very important. Will include some communication with the school and parents, to ensure that tutoring enhances what is being learned at school and incorporates strategies that are effective for each unique learner's needs. Must be warm and engaging, able to make learning fun, and direct/motivate students to stay on task. Must have vulnerable persons criminal reference check.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
