Zaber is looking for a detail-oriented Receiver to take delivery of goods. You'll receive parts into our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and unpack, count, and repackage incoming parts, ranging from pallets of heavy metal parts to bags of small high-value items, such as electronic components.

As a member of our diligent and friendly Inventory Team, you'll maintain and improve our system by refilling inventory levels from overstock, maintaining batch control, labeling minimum quantities, and managing reorder tags. Our service-oriented Inventory Team will guide you in learning cross-functional tasks with a diverse range of colleagues including members of Production, Purchasing, Machine Shop, R&D, Sales, and more.

You'll be joining an innovative, employee-owned company that designs, manufactures, and sells precision motion control equipment. As a member of the Inventory Team, you will contribute to company growth by maintaining our inventory system, receiving incoming shipments, and picking / packing orders for our machine shop and external contract manufacturers.

**Receiver Responsibilities**:

- Receive goods and shelve parts according to our inventory system
- Unload trucks using safe lifting techniques and material handling equipment
- Maintain and improve Zaber's inventory system such as label and organize new parts
- Pick inventory such as metal parts (extrusion up to 12ft long, raw stock up to 30kg) for internal orders made by our Machine Shop
- Pack and ship a variety of parts so that they arrive safely at our contract manufacturers

**Receiver Skills**:

- Notices details, particularly when counting and comparing lists
- Is comfortable using MS Office programs or equivalent, including Excel or other spreadsheet programs
- Is good at multi-tasking and prioritizing their work while being interrupted several times a day
- Enjoys teamwork, gives regular updates, and looks for ways to help out
- Has a customer service mindset: understand that our colleagues are our customers, and they depend on your work
- Is able to lift 25 kg

**Receiver Learning Opportunities**:
