**Summary**

Under the supervision of the Finishing Team Lead, the position performs a variety of fabric finishing functions.

**Qualifications**:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent if studied in a different Country or Province)
- 2+ years’ experience operating manufacturing equipment
- ERP entry and scanning experience an asset
- Ability to work independently as well as cohesively within a team
- Problem solving skills in order to resolve conflicts and problems

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Sets-up Finishing equipment as per work order.
- Examines fabric or products for conformity to quality standards.
- Marks defects on fabric and notifies Finishing Team Leader.
- Repairs and marks minor defects on fabric.
- Measures or weighs finished product by placing the rolls on the scale and measuring them with a standard tape measure.
- Inspects every meter of the fabric, flags defects and takes samples for the Quality Control Department.
- Records information on products inspected such as what coating has been spread on the material.
- Assists in the preliminary packaging of products.
- Ensures a safe environment at all times.
