True North Printed Plastics is looking for an individual that can manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies. Collaborate and effectively communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Track / trace and update the status of incoming / outgoing shipments.

Hours of work:
8:00am - 5:15pm Monday to Thursday
8:00am - 1pm Fridays

**Job Duties**
- Prepare materials for shipping
- Assemble and fill boxes / cartons with items to be shipped
- Ensure orders are processed per buyer’s instructions
- Working knowledge of shipping carrier processes i.e. - UPS, Fedex, Purolator for Domestic and International shipments
- Prepare and print accurate shipping labels as required
- Ensure proper postage is affixed to appropriate packages
- Contact shipping carriers to schedule pickups
- Promptly unload trucks / deliveries ensuring accurate scanning and counting of products
- Quickly and efficiently sort and stock receivables
- Maintain accurate log sheets of daily moves of product
- Track inventory and report any shortages to Plant Manager to ensure accurate updated information is available in Marvin
- Maintain a clean, organized and accessible work area
- Print daily sales receipts and cross-reference with computer software to ensure accuracy
- Maintain and monitor warehouse inventory
- Provide additional backup supports for various departments as assigned by Plant Manager

**Job Requirements**
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Understanding of time organization and urgency
- Ability to work both as a team player and as an individual
- Ability to start at 7 am
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Maintain a positive attitude with vendors and delivery personnel
- Willingness to adjust in daily duty requirements
- Highschool diploma, GED or equivalent
- 6 months logistics experience preferred

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Shipper/Receiver: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
