**You as a Plant Technician will**:

- Monitor and Maintain Utility Systems and their controls
- Monitor medical gas systems
- Trouble shoot and repair medical gas systems
- Maintain physiotherapy pool water treatment
- Tube system monitoring, maintenance and repair
- Maintain reverse osmosis water treatment
- Inspect and maintain mechanical rooms cleanliness and safety
- Respond to utility system alarm calls
- Participate in fire drills
- Assist with Fire Alarm System trouble alarms and fire alarms
- Perform regular scheduled mechanical maintenance
- Trouble shoot and repair Utility Systems and their controls
- Respond to emergency breakdowns
- Domestic water treatment
- Assist with boiler machinery and equipment maintenance
- Respond to any and all trouble calls from all hospital departments
- Respond to all applicable hospital codes

**Is this the right role for you?**
- **Mandatory**: Provincial or other vocational or professional certification required:

- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to read mechanical, electrical and control drawings
- **Minimum**:

- College level education or equivalent work-related knowledge of building operations & maintenance
- Minimum 5 years related experience in plant operations
- Work well within a team setting
- Knowledge of trouble shooting & repairing building systems and performing other related plant duties as required
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Exemplary employment and attendance record
- Must be physically able to do the job
