Security Guard

**We are seeking highly motivated security personnel to work at construction sites in Woodbridge and North York. You must be able to work outside, no exceptions.**
**The posting will remain open until filled.**
**Position Overview**:
**Wages: $18.00/hr+ (depending on site). Those with vehicles $21/hr (limited positions available)**
**Shift timings: Days, Nights**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
- Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
- Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
- Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Denying entry to anyone without authorization.
- Ensure construction workers on the list are only allowed to enter premises.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
- Perform foot patrols outside the facility including gatehouse duties when required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- 6 months minimum of security experience minimum within large scale security operations is strongly preferred.
- Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
- **G or G2 class drivers' licence is required. Vehicle is required to travel to the sites.**:
- Customer service experience is a strong asset.
