Job Type**:Full-time**, Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

**Salary**: Starting at $72,000 depending on experience plus bonuses

We are seeking a passionate, driven, and hardworking **Fabrication Supervisor.**

As a **Fabrication Supervisor** at Accumetal Manufacturing, you will oversee the fabrication/machine department of a metal fabrication facility, with the goal of ensuring production timelines and quality to meet customer expectations. You will manage Punch, Laser, Plasma, Saw, Brake Press Operators as well as CNC Machinists. With a positive attitude, teamwork skills, and a strong work ethic you can help contribute to the further success of our company

**What you will do**:

- Work collaboratively as part of the management team to coordinate the efficient and timely completion of jobs and monitor job estimates to ensure employees are meeting company and customer objectives.
- Seek to optimize safety and efficiency in production through continual evaluation of processes.
- Plan and coordinate work activities according to production schedule, ensuring that customer and shipping deadlines are met.
- Provide support, direction, and supervision to all staff under charge and address/resolve any staffing related issues or concerns on all shifts (occasional telephone support during night shifts).
- Provide hazard information, proper safety equipment and training to all workers.
- Supervise work activities of all workers.
- Responsible for recruitment, selection, training, and termination of staff.
- Ensure all employee documents are up to date as required.
- Complete performance reviews and monitor and manage performance gaps.
- Facilitate feedback from shop floor to engineering department to optimize efficiency and production quality.
- Facilitate orders of all raw material in consideration of upcoming production demands.
- Sign off on First Article Inspections, verifying full compliance with specifications.
- Oversee the shipping and receiving department, ensuring efficient processes in the movement of material in and out of the facility.
- Coordinate delivery of small volume incoming and outgoing orders.
- Participate in and enforce all aspects of health and safety as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Ensure conformance to ISO standards.
- Complete ECI report and rework order for any non-conforming production pieces, as well as completing corrective/preventative actions as established by our Quality System.
- Responsible for ensuring functioning and maintenance of all departmental equipment.
- Accurately track and document all jobs in JobBoss.
- Operate machinery as required including laser, plasma, mills, brake press, punch, etc.
- Operate overhead crane to move parts as required.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and abide by all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in Process Improvement meetings.
- Liaise with vendors to obtain required supplies or parts.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate preferred but not required.
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings.
- Ability to use basic measuring devices (square, calipers, verniers, measuring tape).
- Forklift certified (or capacity to operate a forklift), preferred but not required.

**Required Education and Experience**
- Completion of Grade 12.
- 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication.
- Supervisory experience.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
