**The Opportunity**
As our Learning and Development Specialist, you will design, implement, and evaluate engaging training and development programs that inspire our team and elevate care delivery. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of learning at Hillel Lodge while managing our learning management system (LMS).
What You’ll Do
- **Develop Learning Strategies**: Collaborate with leadership to craft holistic training plans aligned with our mission and strategic goals.
- **Upskill Teams**: Create dynamic training content using e-learning modules, in-person sessions, and multimedia resources.
- **Lead Change Management**: Ensure smooth integration of learning programs into organizational initiatives.
- **Measure Impact**: Assess training effectiveness and refine programs based on measurable outcomes.
- **Support Onboarding Excellence**: Deliver comprehensive onboarding programs to welcome and integrate new hires.
- **Innovate Training Solutions**: Leverage the latest trends in learning technology and methodologies to enhance program delivery.
**What You’ll Bring**
- A degree in Business, Psychology, Adult Education, or a related field.
- Expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Proficiency in LMS and e-learning tools, coupled with strong computer skills.
- Exceptional communication and project management capabilities.
- Formal training or certification in areas such as organizational development or change management.
- A passion for innovation, quality improvement, and employee development.
**Bonus Qualifications**
- Certification such as Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD), Certified Professional In Learning & Performance (CPLP), Certified Learning & Development Professional (CLDP), Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP), Certified Training Practitioner (CTP), or Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT)
- CLRI Specialized Educator Certificate in LTC
- Expertise in assessments like MBTI or DiSC
- Experience in healthcare or long-term care settings, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
