Experienced Pipelayer

We are looking for an **Experienced Pipe-layer** to join the TAG Construction team working with the site Foreman and Machine Operators installing various pipe work, site grading, excavations, grouting, raking, shovelling along with other site dependant tasks.

**RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS**
- Grade and level trench bases using tamping machines and hand tools.
- Laying and joining concrete, plastic or cast-iron pipe for drains, water-mains and sewer mains.
- Complete all work within specifications to ensure pipe is laid to the proposed grade and alignment.
- Participate in Toolbox meetings and Pre-Task Inspections as well as promote a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintaining tools, cords and equipment so they are kept in good working order and are safe for use.
- Rigging pipe for hoisting.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Prior Pipe-layer experience is required.
- Communication with other crew members and following supervisors instructions.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings is an asset.
- Participate in training and other forms of development to strengthen technical, safety and other skills.
- Have a strong work ethic and positive team player.
- Be fit to perform manual labour, heavy lifting in all types of environments and conditions.

Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
