**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for efficient estimating and project management.
- Analyze blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements and scope.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop comprehensive bid proposals.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best rates for materials and services.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and contracts for future reference.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to estimates.
- Provide support during the bidding process by answering questions from contractors or clients.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in using estimating software is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical skills for accurate cost assessments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
