Pricing Coordinator

We are looking for a Pricing Coordinator to join our Pricing Team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate, competitive and up to date pricing throughout our stores. Working closely with the pricing analyst and department managers, this role is responsible for entering maintaining and verifying pricing data to support daily operations and a positive customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, comfortable with numbers and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Enter and maintain accurate pricing, UPCs, product descriptions, costs, vendor info for new and existing products in the point of sale in a timely manner
- Ensure accurate categorization of similar UPCs
- Review and audit prices for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Complete competitor market research and perform price comparisons on products
- Support the Company’s online shopping platform by maintaining accurate product availability, descriptions, and category validation
- Coordinate with the front-end file maintenance teams at store level to administer and execute new items, price changes and promotions
- Provide accurate reports for analysis and decision making for head office and store level departments
- Ensure that pricing procedures are standardized and implemented with stakeholders in all store locations
- Preparing a list of promotional items, reviewing them to ensure margins are maintained, and sending it to supervisor for approval
- Communicate with the marketing team to maintain promotional programs, ensuring advertisements and flyers are executed bi-weekly on timely basis according to marketing strategies
- Stay up to date with government regulations affecting items in stores (i.e. GST and eco fees)
- Facilitate pricing meeting for department managers as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- 2-3 years of retail experience is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- A solid work ethic with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Team oriented and can work with mínimal supervision
- Occasional visits to different store locations may be required

**Education and Experience**:

- Experience in file maintenance or in a data entry position is considered an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- May be required to lift up to 15 pounds at times
