As we create this amazing story, we want to start the audition process for the next kooky family members to join our team We are looking for **Shot Finaling Artists **to join our team

**Our Shot Finaling Team**

At Cinesite Vancouver, the shot finaling department is responsible for ensuring consistent work of the highest quality is delivered between departments. In Shot finaling we look for strong problem solvers with a sharp eye for details. As well as working collaboratively as a team, we work closely with the animation, CFX and lighting departments.

**What you will be doing**
- Troubleshoot some technical issues and flag workflow inefficiencies
- Identify blockers and improvements, and provide information to Leads and Supervisors for resolutions
- Take responsibility for shots and/or assets and ask for support when needed
- Take direction (creative and technical) from senior team members
- Work collaboratively with other departments for optimization, solving issues and ensuring continuity
- Support others in the team with trouble shooting
- Work with others to improve workflows and efficiency
- Keep leads, supervisors and production updated in a timely manner
- Communicate in a clear, thoughtful and descriptive way

**What you bring to the team**
- Proficient in Maya
- Efficient time management and strong understanding of resource management
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Eye for detail and continuity
- Good understanding of the 3D pipeline
- Good understanding of the principles of animation
- General knowledge of modeling, shading, CFX and lighting
- Foundational knowledge of Xgen, Arnold and Python
- Proficient with using complex rigs
