We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Critical Asset Reliability Specialist located in Saskatchewan. This position is part of our Technical Services and Project management team, which designs and builds innovative high-performance systems and provides solutions for our industrial and mobile customers.
**Position Summary**:
As a Critical Asset Reliability Specialist, you find success on account of your entrepreneurial spirit and you will play a lead role in the development and delivery of solutions to large strategic customers. You will be required to support our on-site customers’ maintenance and reliability personnel by developing, in conjunction with our Technical Services and Distribution teams, safe, reliable, and innovative solutions to mitigate the risks of unplanned downtime and to enhance productivity. You will own the entire complex sales cycle from the development of an opportunity through to the delivery of a solution to the customer.
- Support development of safe, reliable, and innovative solutions to maintenance and reliability personnel at customer sites to mitigate the risks of unplanned downtime and to enhance productivity.
- Actively participate in innovative solutions to complex projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with teams across the organization, as well as vendors, to develop and deliver solutions to customers
- Write and present technical proposals to customers
- Provide support and expertise during project commissioning and aftermarket
- Provide internal and external consultation on projects
- Support in-house and field training to internal and external stakeholders
Stay abreast of the latest technologies while looking for opportunities to enhance Applied’s products and services offerings
- Participate in sales planning with Distribution team; develop sales targets and provide pricing and gross margin recommendations
- Degree in Engineering or Certified Engineering Technology
- Extensive knowledge in Mechanical Systems and components
- Experience in improve reliability of mechanical systems driving improved production time and reduced maintenance costs
- Proven communicator with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead complex projects with many stakeholders involved
