**Responsibilities**:
The Research Assistant provides support to the Lab Manager and the Research Office by providing hands-on assistance for running the Behavioural Lab to support the development of knowledge of faculty research at Ivey. Additionally, the Research Assistant provides support for Business undergraduates, PhD students, and behavioral researchers. The role will ensure the availability of materials and information necessary for labs, coordinate schedules, run studies and prepare various communications to support the Lab.

**Qualifications**:

- Education:
- 3 year undergraduate Degree, with courses completed in Behavioural Research (preferably in Psychology)
- Completion of TCPS2 training and strong understanding of the three guiding principles of the TCPS2 and its implementation in practice is preferred
- Experience:
- 1 year experience providing administrative support and customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with physiological equipment and methodology preferred
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Verbal communication skills to clearly express ideas in an objective manner, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience
- Presentation and public speaking skills
- Demonstrated ability take initiative, to work independently and follow through on work assignments
- Competency to maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to establish rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation
- Ability to process information with a high degree of accuracy with high attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the team to achieve department goals
