**About Us**

Big Boy’s Toys LTD is a family owned and operated RV Dealership located in beautiful Nanoose Bay, British Columbia. Our dealership primary sells Jayco products, however we also proudly sell Forest River, Braxton Creek, Northern Lite and Leisure Travel products. We take pride in creating excellent customer service experiences and helping our customers enjoy the beauty of the Island through recreation.

**Our Parts Department**

At Big Boy’s Toys we have a dedicated parts and service department, which includes a full shop team.

We have a large 3000 square ft parts and service department that offers a wide selection of parts and RV accessories. Currently, our close-knit service team is made up of six technicians, two detailers, two service writers, a service manager, two parts advisers and a warranty clerk. We have a knowledgeable Service Manager with 32 years of RV experience and red seal certification who supports our shop team.

Our parts department handles retail parts sales, special parts orders, warranty parts orders, and the shipment of warranty parts or customer parts.

**Parts Associate**

We have recently had an opening in our parts team which we are looking to fill. As the parts associate your day-to-day tasks will revolve around receiving parts shipments, which includes verifying the correct parts arrived, stocking them into the system, and storing them in the correct locations. You will need to be able to move some larger / awkwardly shaped boxes and items. You will also need to help with retail parts sales on a weekly basis.

**Pay Rate**:

- $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and inspecting for any damages or discrepancies
- Source RV parts for both the dealership and retail customers
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Take payment
- Generate purchase orders
- Notify the customer and/or the service team when parts have arrived
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Organize and stock parts
- Organize the storage area for parts
- Work as a team to provide excellent customer experiences
- Follows WorkSafe procedures and safety regulations
- Properly handle hazardous waste
- Follow dealership policies and procedures

**Required**:

- Familiarity with RVs
- Highly organized
- Experience in a retail setting
- Computer proficiency - Microsoft Suites

**Assets**:

- First Aid certification
- Experience in the RV industry and/or with RVs
- Mechanically inclined

**Schedule**:

- 8:30 to 5:00
- Monday to Friday

Must be either willing to relocate to the Nanoose Bay/Parksville area or be able to organize daily transport to and from the business
