BE HOME EVERY EVENING

Our shunt drivers are responsible for moving equipment & trailers containing live birds through the yard in a safe, efficient manner. Applicants are required to have a good safety record, ability to do some heavy lifting and a mechanical aptitude. Starting wage is $24.91 per hour Plus an additional $.75 per hour for shift premium.

AFTERNOON SHIFT 2:40PM Start Time. Monday - Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completion of grade 12 or equivalent an asset
- Current Class 1 drivers license w/air endorsement
- Previous experience in the hauling industry an asset
- Conscientious and punctual character
- A safe work record and work habit
- Responsible to perform and document pre and post trip truck inspection
- A good driving record
- Ability to make quick and accurate city deliveries
- Ability to communicate and maintain positive customer relations
